In Play Submission Guidelines

Until the end of May 2021 we are accepting submissions for In Play Issue #4: Forest

We are looking for the following:

• Tables, lists, and random generators
• Maps and locations
• Encounters, scenarios, and adventures
• Illustrations and other art
• Basically any other cool thing that doesn't fit into the above and that's useful when playing, with one exception: No rules!

Getting Involved

• At this time we are only accepting submissions from members of the FKR Collective
• Join the Discord server if you want to submit an article, or to get involved in the production process.

Content

• Leftist ideas encouraged!
• Be sensitive; consider the harm your work might cause and try to minimise it
• No promotion of fascism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, or other forms of discrimination or oppression
• No game rules
• No graphic depictions of gore or violence
• No graphic depictions of sex

Submitting Text

• Google Doc
• Up to 1000 words

Submitting a Layout

• PDF or Affinity Publisher file
• Up to one landscape A4 spread
• Black and white (CYMK colour space, and use K only)
• Minimum 10mm 'quiet area' around the outside of each A5 page (including a 10mm gutter down the center of the page)
• 3mm bleed for any images that sit on the edge of the page
• All fonts included with the file
• Minimum font size 8 pt

Reading & Editing

• All submissions will be given sensitivity reads and edits by a member of the FKR Collective
